DJ Dave Clarke is set to kick off a series of events to celebrate 30 years of Shine.
Set up by local promoter Alan Simms in 1995, Shine is now an established Belfast brand that is celebrated across the UK and Ireland and last year it was named UK Regional Promoter Of The Year at the UK Live Awards.
World class venues, festivals and countless sell out events have blossomed from the once weekly electronic music event at the Queen’s Students Union.
To celebrate this milestone, Shine will be curating a series of events across the year to pay homage to the music & DJ’s that have defined Belfast’s most iconic and longest running club event over the past three decades.
Dave Clarke has become synonymous with Shine over the years, having played countless times since the late 90s and in 2024 he played an intimate show at the Ulster Sports Club which sold out in a matter of hours.
Now he will be returning to Belfast to play Limelight on April 18 as part of the celebrations.
