Poldark star Eleanor Tomlinson has announced that she and rugby player husband Will Owen have welcomed their first child.
The couple, who tied the knot in July 2022, shared an Instagram post together of a tiny baby hand, and a heart emoji.
They had announced in October 2024 that they were expecting a child, with British actress Tomlinson sharing an image of children clothes with “baby Owen” on the front.
She also wrote: “Can’t wait to meet you, little one.”
Tomlinson is best known as Demelza, a runaway in the 18th Century-set period drama who falls in love with Cornwall landowner and ex soldier Ross Poldark (Aidan Turner).
She has also starred in BBC sci-fi, The War Of The Worlds; BBC comedy The Outlaws; and Channel 4 thriller The Couple Next Door.
Her film work has included biopic Colette starring Keira Knightley; Vincent Van Gogh movie Loving Vincent; and romantic comedies Love Wedding Repeat; and Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging.
Tomlinson’s wedding to Owen took place at the Euridge Manor in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
