Hit Lego ‘Bricktionary’ experience to make its European debut in Dublin this March

A NEW interactive Lego experience is about to make its European debut in Dublin.

Featuring over a million Lego bricks, Bricktionary: The Interactive Lego Brick Experience has already been a worldwide success and will open on March 10 at the Theatre of Light in Dublin’s Point Village.

The new attraction has been created by leading Lego artist Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, a “Lego-certified professional”, based on his hit book The Bricktionary: The Ultimate Lego A-Z.

Hours of fun

It has taken more than 6,500 hours to build the complete exhibition, all built by hand by McNaught and his team. Featuring six interactive ‘build zones’, the exhibition will feature over 150 models from the bestseller, plus models from the TV series Lego Masters Australia which is currently airing here on Channel 4.

There will also be 45 brand new brick models from the imaginations of The Brickman team, ranging from life-size animals to space travel.

Inspire and create

“I am so excited to open Bricktionary to Ireland, after it makes the journey from (literally) the other side of the world,” enthuses McNaught.

“This exhibition is all about using Lego bricks to inspire and celebrate the power of imagination. With over 150 models to inspire you, millions of Lego bricks to build and play with, interactive build zones, including an Earthquake challenge and mystery mosaic, where guests get to help create enormous Lego murals, I can’t wait to see what Dubliners will create.”

Colourful and fun

Dan Gleeson, co-owner of the Theatre of Light, said: “We are excited to welcome the Brickman team to Ireland, and for Ireland to be the European debut of this colourful and fun exhibition that has been so loved across the globe.

“Lego inspires creativity in both kids and big kids at heart. We know from the previous overseas runs that yes, families with kids are the main target market for this attraction, but there is also a huge amount of Lego interest among adults.”
