Actor Hugh Jackman has said he is “deeply disappointed” to cancel his tour date at London’s Hyde Park.

The Australian film star was due to perform songs from musicals including The Boy From Oz, Les Miserables, The Music Man and The Greatest Showman on Sunday July 6 2025 at BST Hyde Park.

A statement shared on behalf of Jackman by BST Hyde Park said: “Due to an unforeseen conflict in my schedule, I am deeply disappointed to announce I will be unable to perform in Hyde Park this July 6.

“This was a stage I truly was looking forward to being on. No less in a city that I love so much.

“Thank you to all people who’ve purchased tickets. For ticket refunds, please go to the link in my bio for more information. London, I will see you soon!”

Jackman, known for his role playing the fierce superhero Wolverine across The X-Men film series, The Wolverine, and Logan, and most recently in Deadpool And Wolverine, is also known for his musical theatre roles.

He was in 2012 period film Les Miserables, played showman PT Barnum in the popular 2017 musical The Greatest Showman, and was in a Broadway revival of The Music Man in 2022 and 2023.

BST Hyde Park said: “Ticketholders for Hugh Jackman will automatically be refunded in full for tickets purchased through official agents.”

Jackman is set to return to perform at Radio City Music Hall in New York in April, and continue with dates at that venue until October.

Foster had been married to screenwriter Ted Griffin but reportedly filed for divorce in 2024.

Jackman won the Tony Award for best actor in a musical for The Boy From Oz in 2004, and received an Oscar nomination in 2013 for his role as ex-prisoner Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, based on the 19th century Victor Hugo book.

Jackman’s forthcoming projects include mystery film Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie, and The Death Of Robin Hood.
