Chrissy Teigen has hailed her husband John Legend as the “soul” of their home as they celebrated his 46th birthday in London.
The American model, 39, marked the occasion by sharing a photo to Instagram of the singer-songwriter sitting in a swing during a trip to an immersive bubble experience in the UK capital on Saturday.
The couple, who married in 2013, share four children together – Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren.
Alongside the post, she wrote: “To our everything, the soul of our home (I’m the heart) we love you so much.
“Happy 46th birthday. You spent it taking the kids to the bubble experience in London at 8am, and now we are heading to the Devil Wears Prada musical because you’re up for any kind of date night you can get, ever.
“I love you so much, we love you so much. Happy birthday.”
The couple met on the set of Legend’s Stereo music video in 2006, in which Teigen played his love interest.
They later began dating and in 2011 Legend proposed during a trip to the Maldives and they married in 2013 in Lake Como, Italy.
Legend is among only a small amount of performers to complete the EGOT of winning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award.
He has released 10 studio albums across his career, the latest being My Favourite Dream which he released in August.
The All Of Me singer has won 12 Grammy awards including best R&B album for 2020’s Bigger Love, 2010’s Wake Up! and 2004’s Get Lifted.
