With over 20 stalls the first ‘Taste Mid Ulster’ market aims to showcase the best of Mid Ulster’s local food, produce and crafts. Enjoy exclusive foodie experiences, chef demonstrations by Sean Owens, international 5 Star chef and cook with Norah Brown. Whilst also enjoying free music entertainment from local bands and artists as well as children’s entertainment. Organised by Mid Ulster District Council it promises to be an exciting weekend full of flavour and fun.

International Women’s Day Exhibition, Marlborough House, 28-32 Victoria Street – until March 13

For this year’s International Women’s Day Vault Artist Studios are launching an exhibition exploring the theme of ‘Mother’. Showing the work of 70 artists from many different mediums including painting, photography, sketching, sculpting, digital and many more.

All the works are designed to celebrate, commemorate, and cherish mothers. For example artist Clare Hanna’s submission ‘GET YOUR PINK BACK’ was inspired by the fact Flamingos lose their pink colouring when raising their young with the colour only returning when the young become independent. The piece serves as a reminder to look after and take time for yourself as well as others.

Country To Country, The SSE Arena, Belfast – March 8-10

Country To Country has become Europe’s premier destination to see the world’s best country artists and future stars.

Kane Brown, Brad Paisley and Old Dominion will headline the event at The SSE Arena Belfast. They are joined by Carly Pearce, Brothers Osbourne, Jake Owen, Lauren Alaina, Brian Kelley, Elle King, Drake Milligan, Priscilla Block and Introducing Nashville.

This year’s circus themed festival will welcome crowds to ‘big top’ venues including The Lyric, The MAC, Belfast Cathedral, Culturlann MacAdam Ó Fiaich and Crescent Arts Centre.

Over 100 events and performances will take place during the festival, which features productions from the Netherlands, Scotland, England and Ireland, local artists, firm festival favourites like Baby Rave and several UK and Ireland premiers.

This dance and live music collaboration is the result of a partnership between London-based choreographer Sarah Golding and Belfast composer and percussionist Steve Davis

Starring dancers Gerard Headley, Clara Kerr and Michael McEvoy this 40-minute performance will explore themes of memory perspective and how the past influences the present.
