Got any plans this weekend? From sensory cocktail experiences to Amazon Prime’s new Irish comedy series we have you covered whether you’re going out or staying in.
GO OUT
Sensorium by The Spirit Circle, 62 High Street, Belfast – Every Friday and Saturday night
Usually drinking and thinking don’t go hand in hand but that’s exactly what you’ll do during this experience at the Sensorium. Discover why you like certain drinks and cocktails through a series of booze infused experiments.
Begin in the Sensorium room where you will do a series of taste tests under the supervision of a guide. This will allow you to discover what kind of taster you are before climbing the stairs to the Inhibitor room where The Inhibitor will tell you all about your 32 senses and carry out some more flavour filled experiments using sounds and imagery to affect your perception. Finally, in the Spirit of You Rooftop Garden, Sensorium mixologists will create a bespoke Emotional Serve cocktail that your memory selects using smell alone and a bespoke Sensory Serve cocktail that has been matched to your sensory profile.
