GAA President Jarlath Burns and Belfast Lord Mayor Ryan Murphy were the special guests as Bredagh GAC opened their newly-refurbished new clubrooms on Belfast’s Ravenhill Road.
The redevelopment project, which saw a complete overhaul of the club rooms, was made possible through support of the Belfast City Council (BCC) and their Belfast Investment Fund.
“The redevelopment of Bredagh GAC’s clubhouse and the transformative impact it will have on the surrounding area is a great example of our Belfast Investment Fund in action,” said Lord Mayor of Belfast Councillor Ryan Murphy.
“This programme is all about developing local facilities which can deliver real and lasting social and environmental benefits, while encouraging and enabling further regeneration of our communities.

“We are thrilled to unveil our newly refurbished club rooms and extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Belfast City Council and the Belfast Investment Fund for their unwavering support,” said Bredagh club chairman Malcom MacFarlane.
“This project represents a significant investment in our community and will serve as a hub for fostering camaraderie, sportsmanship, and growth for years to come.”
