Moneyglass 1-12 Ahoghill 1-14
AHOGHILL reached the quarter-finals of the Northern Switchgear Antrim SFC with a hard fought two-point victory over Moneyglass.
Both sides had already beaten Con Magee’s and lost to Portglenone in the previous two rounds, so it was a winner-takes-all clash on Friday evening.

The two teams registered goals during the opening period as Ahoghill just shaded the contest by the time the referee sounded the half-time whistle, leading by the minimum of margins, 1-7 to 1-6.
The sides were tied six minutes after the turnaround, but Ahoghill got their noses ahead again and never surrendered the lead, seeing out a two-point victory in the end.

Tir na nOg 1-5 Cargin 3-11
CARGIN picked up their third win on the trot and handed Tír na nÓg their third consecutive defeat with this facile win.
Michael and Tomas McCann both hit the net during the opening half, as did Barry McCormick for Tir na nOg, with the reigning champions four points ahead at the halfway stage, 2-3 to 1-2.
A goal late on from Gerard McCann added some gloss to the scoreline as Cargin sailed through to the knock-out stages of the competition with 12 points to spare in the end.
