THE GAA has reiterated support for the family of Sean Brown who continue to seek truth and justice for the murdered Bellaghy clubman.

Writing in his annual report for 2024, Tom Ryan described Sean as the “epitome” of the GAA volunteer and called for the public enquiry in his brutal murder to proceed without further delay.

“Two separate High Court justices have stated that a public enquiry is necessary and yet the latest such decision is being appealed by the Northern Secretary of State,” wrote Ryan.

“We fully support the Brown family’s campaign for truth and justice for Sean and call on those with influence to bring their suffering to an end.”
