The date, time and venue for Errigal Ciarán’s All-Ireland Senior Club semi-final against Munster champions Dr Crokes have been confirmed.

The Tyrone and Kerry champions will meet at O’Moore Park in Portlaoise on Sunday, January 5, with throw-in scheduled for 3.30pm.

Dr Crokes defeated Tipperary champions Loughmore-Castleiney, who also took the Tipperary senior hurling title this year.

The giants of Kerry football last won the All-Ireland senior club title in 2017 when they defeated Derry’s Sleacht Néill in the final by two points.

That game was the final game of Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper’s career.

Errigal Ciarán defeated Kilcoo last Sunday to win the club’s first Ulster Club SFC title since 2002.

Tyrone great Peter Canavan was instrumental to that team and it is his sons, Ruairí and Darragh, who are central to this year’s team as they look to add to their club’s fortunes already this season.

The winner of this tie will play either Cuala of Dublin or Coolera-Strandhill of Sligo in the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship final at Croke Park.

That game is fixed to take place at Kingspan Breffni Park in Cavan on Sunday, January 5, with throw-in scheduled for 1.30pm.

Both semi-finals will be shown on Irish-language broadcaster TG4 on Sunday.

Elsewhere, on Saturday, January 4, the winner of the Ulster Intermediate Football championship final between Arva and Ballinderry will play Austin Stacks of Kerry in their semi-final at O’Connor Park in Tullamore, Co Offaly.

The Ulster Club Junior Twinning Football Championship final will take place on Sunday, January 5, with Tara of London taking on Naomh Padraig, Muff at McGovern Park on Ruislip, London.
