Kildare v Fermanagh: Match details, throw-in time and how to watch as the Ernemen begin their climb back to Division Two

These two sides were relegated from the second tier of the National League

Fermanagh get their league campaign underway against fellow division-two-relegated side Kildare at St Conleth’s Park.

The Ernemen will be hoping for a straight yo-yo back to Division Two, as will their opponents, who finished rock bottom of the division last year.

Fermanagh will be propelled by the fact that their star forward Ultan Kelm will not be jetting off to Australia this year to pursue a career in the AFL.

Kildare will hope that new manager Brian Flanagan can get them back up to the second tier of gaelic football with Kevin Feely nominated as captain.

Former Armagh player Aidan O’Rourke has joined Flanagan’s backroom staff along with Damien Hendy and Daryl Flynn.
