THE Danske Bank MacLarnon Cup semi-final line-up should be ironed by this evening and they will face the winners from today’s clash of St Pius X Magherafelt v Rathmore Grammar at 2pm in Owenbeg.
Around the same time in Corduff (2.15pm start) St Malachy’s Castlewellan take on competition favourites Patrician, Carrickmacross. Later on at 4.30pm last year’s beaten finalists Our Lady & St Patrick’s Knock meet Aquinas Grammar in the Belfast derby at Woodlands.
With two quarter-finals sorted in the MacRory Cup, St Patrick’s Armagh and Abbey Vocational will be keeping an eye on events in Owenbeg tomorrow evening and Healy Park Omagh on Sunday afternoon.
Armagh’s semi-final opponents the weekend after next will come from the Derry derby, St Patrick’s Maghera v St Mary’s Magherafelt, tomorrow while Abbey will travel to Healy Park for the later throw-in of 6.30pm on Sunday to see if their neighbours from south west Donegal can dethrone three-in-a-row chasing Omagh CBS.

The last two quarter-finals in the Faul Cup are also down for decision. Loreto Coleraine will host the Bann-side derby with St Conor’s Kilrea/Clady tomorrow morning with the winner set to face Bailieborough Community school.
The fixture for the south Ulster tie between Largy College Clones and St Aidan’s, Cootehill has still to finalised with Gaelcholáiste Dhoire awaiting a semi-final opponent at the end of next week.
There are also two Markey Cup semi-finals this week, one on Wednesday in MUSA involving St Mark’s Warrenpoint and St Columb’s Derry and the other on Friday in Celtic Park between Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dóbhair and St Patrick’s Keady.
St Columb’s also have to fit in a twice postponed Casement Shield hurling semi-final with Coláiste Feirste, possibly on Friday afternoon, while Keady have the Leopold Cup hurling final on Wednesday evening in the Box-It Athletic Grounds. It’s a derby fixture with St Patrick’s Armagh.
Keady are also involved in today’s Fr Davies’ Cup camogie semi-final against St Patrick’s Academy with the winners progressing to a meeting with last year’s beaten finalists St Catherine’s Armagh before the end of the week.
