GIVEN the results in recent years between Armagh and Galway, it is a very real possibility that the game will not be resolved in 70 minutes.

The last meeting between the sides in this year’s All-Ireland round-robin series ended in a draw in Markievicz Park in Sligo.

In their previous knockout meeting in 2022, the two sides went to penalties in Croke Park, with Galway coming out on top while in last year’s group stages, Armagh were winners by a single point after Shane Walsh missed a late free.

People will be left wondering what will happen if more time is needed to separate the sides.
