TYRONE’S promotion prospects suffered an irreparable blow at Ruislip, where London came strong in the second half to take both points.

The sides were level at the interval, but the Exiles pushed on in a strong third quarter as they pulled away with a string of unanswered scores.

It was London who opened the scoring through their star man, Jack Goulding, with the Red Hands responding with scores from Joe McToal, Ben Gormley and Aidy Kelly.

As London came to terms with difficult underfoot conditions, Malcolm Flannery, Sean Glynn and Goulding all registered scores.

And the home side were reduced to 14 men after 29 minutes with a red card for Matthew Barlow.

Tyrone responded with scores from Lorcan Devlin and Rory Weir, but they were cancelled out, chiefly by Goulding, and the sides were level at 0-7 each at the break.

But London made light of the earlier dismissal to take control, hitting five scores in the early stages of the second half, from Goulding, Glynn and Robbie Murphy.

Tyrone were struggling to break down a solid defence, and did eventually respond through Kelly to narrow the gap.

But, Goulding stepped up again, hitting several impressive scores from range.

As the game appeared to be slipping away from them, Tyrone threw everything into attack, but found London goalkeeper Tommy Wallace in unbeatable form with a string of excellent saves.

The Ulster side did tag on scores through Sean Óg Grogan and Lorcan Devlin, but another flourish from London saw them find the range from distance, with Paul Kennedy, Adam Cunney and Goulding all on target.
