THE top two sides in the table face off to round off this weekend’s Down hurling bill and Portaferry look to come into this the more confident side after their comfortable win over Liatroim last time out.

Ballygalget, who have been the surprise package of this championship, have kept pace with Portaferry up to this point but will face a mountain of a task in order to stave off the reigning champions.

Ballycran got off the mark at the third time of asking last week with a win over Bredagh and they should back that up when they travel to face Carryduff on Sunday afternoon

Carryduff also have two points on the board  but sit behind St Joseph’s on scoring difference.

Liatroim are still well incontention for a top-four finish and should help their cause by taking two points off Bredagh this evening.

Saturday Bredagh v Liatroim (5pm)

Sunday Carryduff v Ballycran (2pm)
