It’s Cork v Dublin in the All-Ireland senior club hurling final this weekend as Sarsfields come up against Na Fianna at Croke Park in a bid to take the All-Ireland title for the first time in either club’s history.

Na Fianna, a club between Drumcondra and Glasnevin, are out to become only the second Dublin side to lift the Tommy Moore Cup after Cuala went back-to-back in 2017 and 2018.

This game will be the club’s manager, Niall Ó Ceallacháin’s last game in charge before he takes up the reigns of the Dublin hurling panel.

The Northside club have won the last two Dublin senior hurling championships, defeating Kilmacud Crokes in the final this season.

They then marched on in the Leinster championship, beating Clough–Ballacolla from Laois and St Martin’s of Wexford before going one step further than they did in 2023 and winning the provincial title, doing it against Kilcormac-Killoughey of Offaly.

Their opponents are Sarsfields of Glanmire in northeast Cork, a side that has gotten all the way to the showpiece of senior club hurling without even winning their county title.

After a tight semi-final win against Sleacht Néill, Sarsfields will hope that they can ride their luck all the way through their clash with Na Fianna.
