Wexford enter this home clash having come out second-best against Cork and Tipperary in the opening weeks.

Now, they have another hurling heavyweight to contend with in the shape of Kilkenny who travel to Wexford Park.

The Cats have had mixed results in the opening round of this league, coming out on top in a replay of last year’s All-Ireland semi-final against Liam MacCarthy winners Clare but just losing out to Galway.

Kilkenny will look to Martin Keoghan’s sharp shooting to spark a good performance against tough opposition in Wexford however the Cats travel to this game as favourites.

Cian Byrne can pose a danger for the Yellow Bellies from dead-ball situations as he has proven so far this season could be more vital for Wexford with the side missing Lee Chin who has not been included in the squad despite returning to training.
