THE brand-new Lamborghini Revuelto will make its Irish debut next week at the launch of ‘supercar road trip’ Cannonball Ireland 2024.
Billed as “the largest organised road trip in Europe” and featuring exotic cars from marques including Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati, this year’s Cannonball Ireland will take place from September 5 to 8 across a selection of Irish towns and pit-stops.
Founded by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon, the annual motoring event has raised €1,638,432 for Irish charities over the past 13 years. Cannonball Ireland 2024 continues the event’s long-time association with The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, an Irish charity that funds and provides up to 100 hours per month of in-home nursing care, respite support and end-of-life care for children up to six years of age whose severe learning disabilities often involve complex medical needs.
This year, spectators can do their bit for this good cause by backing their favourite Cannonball car in the Cannonball Fundraising Grand Prix.
Cannonball Ireland 2024 will get underway on Thursday September 5, when the Cannonball crew are set to roll into the Johnstown Estate in Co Meath from 6pm, providing an opportunity for spectators to view this year’s selection of cars and check out the fancy dress-clad driving teams (it’s a Cannonball Ireland tradition), as well as feasting their eyes on the brand new Lamborghini Revuelto in the metal for the very first time.

For 2024, event sponsors Circle K are also running a nationwide campaign with one cent from every litre of Miles and Miles Plus fuel sold being donated to the charity.
Deirdre Walsh, CEO of Jack and Jill said: “Whether it’s showing up along the route and popping a few Euro in our collection buckets, volunteering to help our fundraising effort, supporting our exciting inaugural Cannonball Fundraising Grand Prix or simply filling up at your nearest Circle K, every cent makes a difference.
“A massive thank you to our friends in Cannonball Ireland and Circle K for this wonderful opportunity.”
