Fiat has announced that its new Grande Panda B-segment crossover will be priced from £18,975.
There will be the choice of hybrid and battery-electric powertrains, with both powertrains available with two trim levels.
Prices start at £18,975 for the entry-level Icon in hybrid form which includes air conditioning, 16-inch black alloy wheels and a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The La Prima comes in at 20,975 and boasts 17-inch alloy wheels and sustainable interior upholstery.
Electric models start at £20,975 for the basic ‘Red’ trim, which comes fitted with 16-inch white steel wheels and ‘Red’ logo badging on the B-pillars. The flagship La Prima comes in at £23,975 and adds LED headlights and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Hybrid cars come equipped with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor developing 129bhp.
The electric Grande Panda comes fitted with a 44kWh battery pack and an electric motor that produces 114bhp. Fiat claims this variant can travel up to 199 miles between trips to the plug. Meanwhile, it can accept charging speeds of up to 100kW, enabling the car to from from 20 to 80 per cent in 27 minutes.
Order books for the new Grande Panda are open now with cars expected to arrive at dealerships this spring.
