IT COULDN’T be easy buying a birthday present for someone who’s filthy rich – you’ll get no argument from Sleb Safari on that one.

Channing Tatum’s wife has game on the birthday present buying front and got him a rescue horse to celebrate turning 36.

The caramel beauty (the horse, not Channing) is called Cajun and Channing posted a photo of it on Instagram along with a video of him cantering around on its back.

Jenna has set the birthday gift bar high with this present and is going to have to pony up something pretty special next year.

It was all about horses last week in slebdom and Katie Price put her spin on it, going all out and annoying Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

The first thing she did was have hearts and diamonds shaved into her horses’ coat which got the equestrian world’s jodhpurs in a twist.

Then she really got up people’s noses with the photoshoot to promote her new reality TV show.

The imaginatively titled Katie Price’s Pony Club will follow Katie as she teaches Junior and Princess to ride a horse. That is the entire sum of it. Sleb Safari kids you not.

To promote the show Katie held one of her infamous photo calls. This particular photo call surpassed all others. Remember when Katie dressed as a pantomime horse to promote her equestrian range? Amateur hour compared to this.

Not only did Katie kit herself out with fluffy hooves and tail, she had a horse dyed pink and dressed as a unicorn. The tutu, rainbow mane and tail and sparkly hooves were an unexpected bonus.

The horse did not look one bit comfortable dressed as a My Little Pony on acid. In one picture it appeared to be resisting the urge to impale her on its unicorn horn. Whatever that horse was paid it wasn’t enough.

People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) had a lot to say.

“Horses are smart, complex animals, not props,” Peta warned.

“If this horse suffers from toxic poisoning or has a fatal allergic reaction Katie Price’s next photo op may well be a mug shot.”

Katie didn’t stop at embarrassing the horse, she humiliated her family too. Her son Junior and husband Kieran – who got a full length tattoo of her just last month – dressed as a cross between Aladdin, a unicorn and the Easter bunny.

Princess, meanwhile, was dressed as a disco dancing Rapunzel with trotters.

It was all very confusing. To be fair, though, if nothing else, it gave social media a break from trying to figure out the identity of Becky with the good hair. Katie Price just doesn’t get the credit she deserves.

Pasta and sauce for Aziz Ansari

AND so to the kitchen where American chef Mario Batali cooked for his friends, Master of None creators Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang, using a jar of pasta sauce. You should watch the video.

It starts out well, with Mario promising to make them carrot frittelle, beet ricotta ravioli and meatballs and telling them “of all of my foodie friends, you guys might be the most obsessed with food, which makes me happy, makes me understand you, makes you understand me”.

It all goes Pete Tong when he turns his attention to the third course.

“We’re going to take some wine from the Veneto and I’m going to add about a cup… I cook the wine just for a second until it boils, I haven’t cooked all the liquor out of it and I’m going to add tomato sauce. My general rule of thumb is if you can find one with your name on it you should use it…”

And with that he pops the lid on a jar of pasta sauce and pours it into the pan.

If he was a magician he’d be thrown out of the magic circle for that trick.

A jar of pasta sauce is what you expect at a friend’s house, not in a chef’s kitchen and not when it’s being filmed.

What next, Jamie Oliver using Donegal Catch in a 15-minute meal? Boy, bye.

Is this the cutest bunny rabbit in the world?

ALLOW Sleb Safari to introduce you to the cutest bunny rabbit in town – Piu Piu.

His owner calls him the “most stylish bunny in the world” and although that’s a tricky thing to prove Sleb Safari is going to roll with it because its two favourite rabbits up until now (Bugs Bunny and Roger the Rabbit) do not cut the mustard in the style stakes.

Piu Piu is a Holland Lop rabbit and lives in Tokyo with his owner who makes all his outfits.

Sleb Safari’s favourite is the Sherlock Holmes look. Benedict Cumberbatch better watch his back, don’t you think?
