FOLLOWING their successful Irish visit last December, the real life former drug cops who inspired the hit Netflix series Narcos will be returning to Ireland next year for a trio of discussion-based events.

'A Conversation on Narcos with Steve Murphy & Javier Pena' will once again find this ex-Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) duo speaking about the rise of Pablo Escobar's notorious Medellin Cartel and the role US DEA agents played in bringing down the so-called 'King of Cocaine' and the rival Cali Cartel smuggling ring.

The discussions are engineered to shed light on the pair's input into the hit Netflix series while also allowing Pena (who was portrayed by Pedro Pascal in the show) and Murphy (played by Boyd Holbrook) to offer insights into the real case beyond what was seen on the screen.

The former agents will be visiting Cork's Opera House on May 15, followed by The Telegraph Building in Belfast on May 16 and Dublin's Olympia Theatre on May 17.

Meanwhile, Netflix have just announced that there will be a fourth series of Narcos coming to our screens in 2018 featuring new cast members Diego Luna and Michael Pena.
