The first LGBT episode of Blind Date will air this weekend to coincide with London Pride.

The episode will see Celine Dion super-fan Alice Tate, 29, choose between digitial content manager Steph, 26, from Southampton, civil engineering technician Sarah, 30, from Reading and New Zealand-born Jane, 31, from London.

She will quiz each of the women before deciding who she would like to invite on a date.

The first of several episodes featuring lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender contestants will be broadcast on the same day as the Pride in London Parade.

Jane, Steph and Sarah are the three suitors that Alice is picking from (Channel 5)

Alice, who works as a compliance administrator for a frozen foods company, has said she is a positive person who is looking for someone she loves as much as Dion.

Hopeful Steph said she spends more time with her dogs than out on dates and is looking for someone interested in music, arts and community events.

The episode of Blind Date, hosted by Paul O’Grady, will air on July 8 at 8pm on Channel 5.
