American rockers Kings Of Leon performed to a crowd of thousands as they headlined a festival in London’s Hyde Park.
The Tennessee four-piece was the closing act at Barclaycard British Summer Time on Thursday.
Fans from across the country flocked to the park in scorching sunshine and sang along as the sun set on the main stage.
Frontman Caleb Followill told the crowd: “It’s so good to be here, we’ve been looking forward to this for a long time.”
He added: “You never know if you’re going to enjoy yourself at a big concert like this but you guys are amazing, so thank you.”
He paid tribute to US rock stalwarts Pixies, who shared the stage with them.
“It’s amazing to be here playing this show – a lot of good friends are playing with us,” Followill said.
“How crazy it is to share the stage with the Pixies, they’ve been one of the biggest influences on this band from the very beginning.”
The band’s set also included Sex On Fire, Use Somebody and Back Down South.
They finished with their hit single Waste A Moment.
Kings Of Leon, who released latest album WALLS earlier this year, and the Pixies were also joined by US singer-songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff And The Night Sweats.
