Richard Hammond is seen racing off in the car that later crashed and burst into flames, in a new trailer for The Grand Tour.

The former Top Gear Host, 47, injured his knee when the Rimac, an electric supercar, crashed as he shot scenes for the programme in Switzerland in June.

The sneak peek at the second series of the Amazon Prime programme shows Hammond, with his helmet on, whizzing off down the road after telling viewers: “Watch this.”

His co-hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May are also seen tackling various challenges as their adventures take the trio to Mozambique as well as Switzerland and the UK.
