The relationship between Love Island’s Callum Jones and Shaughna Phillips comes under strain as the boys leave the villa for Casa Amor.

In scenes that will air on Monday night, they sneak out of the main house, with Finn Tapp, Luke Trotman and Nas Majeed leaving behind gifts for the girls they are coupled up with.

Stuck for an idea, Callum does not leave anything for Shaughna, prompting her to say: “Every single bed had stuff on it apart from mine. I go for the idiots all the time. I just feel like it’s happening again. It’s just annoying.”

When the boys arrive at rival villa Casa Amor, Callum is taken by new arrival Molly Smith, to the surprise of Finn and Mike Boateng.

Finn says: “I thought he’d be blinkers on,” while Mike adds: “He has shocked me.”

Meanwhile, the girls are joined by  a slew of new arrivals in the main villa, prompting Rebecca Gormley to say: “I’ve gone from having zero men to having the choice out of six men. I’m buzzing!”

Fresh from her break-up with Luke Mabbott, Jess Gale says: “This is an exciting time. So many new faces, different personalities.

“I’m excited to see what they’ve got to say, who you bounce off.”

The two villas will also go head to head in a cocktail challenge, as the contestants are tasked with passing the ingredients of four different cocktails between their mouths, racing to fill up their glasses the quickest.

Love Island continues on ITV2 and in Ireland on Virgin Media One.
