A CO Tyrone mother-of-four won best dressed woman at the Cheltenham festival yesterday, thanks to a striking green outfit from a Dungannon boutique.

Yvonne McAvoy (41), from Coalisland, won £10,000 of prizes after her distinctive outfit caught the eye of the judges.

Her faux fur stole, emerald green silk dress and leopard-print hat were all from The Boutique in Dungannon, owned by sisters Anita and Donna Ross.

Donna Ross said she was thrilled by Yvonne's win.

"Yvonne is a regular customer to The Boudoir and we knew she wanted something wonderful to wear at the races this year," she said.

"The dress, stole and hat are all from The Boudoir. The boutique, which stocks a range of design labels, has been developed by my sister Anita and I for over six years now, so we are so thrilled for Yvonne that she won today! It's clearly a lucky week for the green and the Irish."

The Boudoir was one of several shops in the Linen Green complex in Dungannon hit by extensive flooding before Christmas. The boutique lost tens of thousands of pounds of stock in the floods.
