ALMOST £750,000 is to be spent as part of an improvement scheme in Limavady.
The work will involve upgrades to footpaths, kerbs and roads on Connell Street and Irish Green Street, where street lighting has already been completed and a revitalisation scheme for Market Street which is set to be finished by next summer.
The project will include the installation of new shop frontages, painting, and replacement of windows and doors.
The total amount invested will be £742,000 with the Department for Communities providing £721,000 and the remaining funding coming from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
Communities Minister Paul Givan said the revitalisation project would help "support and expand the existing independent and niche retail provision in the town".
The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Alderman Maura Hickey, said: "Limavady is an important rural hub in our borough. This funding which has been made available is a great opportunity for the town's retailers to enhance the quality shopping offer and individuality of this market town."
