A 70-year-old man was arrested after a police chase in west Belfast.

The pensioner allegedly failed to stop for police on the Glen Road before being pursued by officers.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Officers from the Auto Crime Team have arrested and charged a man (70) with a number of driving offences including dangerous driving and (having) no licence after he failed to stop for police on the Glen Road yesterday and a short pursuit ensued.

"He is due in court in March in relation to this."
