One of Belfast’s newest hospitality venues is offering a £500 cash incentive for anyone that help it find additional staff.
The Ringland Group’s new Italian-themed eatery Amelia Hall is already seeking to expand its workforce after experiencing significant demand for the Howard Street venue since opening last month.
The group said it attracted 20,000 customers in its first month of trading, with 15 additional staff needed for the bar-restaurant.
It would see the venue’s workforce increase to 95 across both Amelia Hall and the group’s neighbouring Flint Hotel.
With the north’s labour market currently extremely tight, Peter Ringland, who founded the hospitality group with his brother Ben, said they have decided to offer a cash incentive to help fill their vacancies.
He said individuals who successfully refer a new staff member will receive £250 upon signing a contract and an additional £250 after the new employee has completed 12 weeks of employment.
“The response to Amelia Hall has been just incredible,” said Peter. “We are thrilled to see our vision come to life, but the high number of customers has also highlighted the need for more talented individuals to join our team.

The group’s other venues in Belfast include the 1852 hotel in the Botanic Avenue area and bar-restaurants Town Square, Southside Social and Lucky Duck.
