Mechanical engineer, Wrightbus

Wrightbus is a fast-moving company which has enjoyed considerable growth in the last year. As part of this continued growth, management wish to appoint an experienced mechanical engineer to join its engineering team.

The successful candidate will have responsibility to support day to day production demands as well as the further development of the company’s product portfolio.

Key tasks include working effectively within a cross-functional team in the overall vehicle development, ensuring that all components and systems are correctly integrated into the overall vehicle design. You will also be responsible for the specification, selection and integration of components and systems into new and existing vehicle designs.

A very exciting opportunity has arisen to support in enhancing the learning experience of all education visitors through enriched opportunities and professional teacher support. Beyond internally, the successful candidate should seek to work cooperatively and supportively with destination partners in Titanic Quarter including Maritime Belfast Trust, other destination partners and communities to facilitate engagement with the site and their heritage.

You will manage and deliver interactive learning experiences, manage outreach efforts, and align with educational standards. You will also support with Crew Training and take a lead role in Safeguarding Practices.
