Lagan Specialist Contracting Group is a private family owned construction business which was established in 1962 by Peter Lagan. The company has grown from its quarrying activity origins to be the major international Specialist Contractor that exists today.
On a continual path of growth, the business now wishes to appoint a Senior Design Engineer to work within its existing estimating team. Whilst the head office is based in Belfast, FK Lowry work throughout the UK and Ireland and so the work location is flexible. Your role will be to advise on geotechnical design requirements at tender stage for aspects of bored and driven piling work, and the preparation of detailed design submission to current Eurocode requirements at contract award. You may occasionally be required to travel within the UK or Ireland to attend meetings if required.
