Invest Northern Ireland is looking to appoint a number of Heads of Regional Business to manage its Regional Offices across the Regional Office Network.
The Head of Regional Business will be responsible for leading a team of operational and stakeholder staff delivering Invest NI’s new Business Strategy.
As a key regional leader, you will play a direct role in the development of the Business Strategy, using the detailed knowledge of regional economic territories and activity to inform strategy and policy development ensuring regional issues are clearly presented, understood, and are harnessed to inform evidence-based decision-making and to demonstrably contribute to the delivery of regional balance.

Type Approval Manager, Wrightbus
Wrightbus is the fastest growing production company in Europe. As part of its continued growth, the company wishes to appoint a Type Approval Manager to join its Type Approval team. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a growing team of Type Approval engineers
- Producing and collating reports/documentation, including 2D CAD drawings for submission to the approval authority.
- Accountable for the management and maintenance of various documents and records within the department.
- Accountable, in conjunction with other departments, for obtaining Vehicle Type Approval for specified Wrightbus products
- Validate the impact of regulations associated with the design, manufacture and use of buses in any country in which the Company seek business opportunities.
- Responsible, in conjunction with other departments, for obtaining approvals for any country in which the Company target vehicle placement.
- Responsible for reviewing vehicle design and specification to ensure previously granted approvals remain valid.
- Responsible, for creating overall test plans, test strategies, and arranging test programs with external agencies.
- Overseeing the assessment, development, and creation of in-house test plans to ensure product compliance with Wrightbus approvals.
- To liaise with necessary departments, internal or external, to help resolve any regulatory non-compliances, as applicable.
- Undertake relevant training associated with the effective operation of the post.
