Hygiene Operative Day Shift, Genesis Bakery (Magherafelt)

Due to continued growth, Genesis Bakery requires washroom/hygiene staff for a busy bakery based in Magherafelt working day shifts, Monday to Friday, from 11am to 7pm.

Day-to-day activities include the cleaning of barrels, bins, mixing bowls, utensils and racks within the washroom to ensure that production have the appropriate equipment when required.

The successful candidate must also participate in the routine cleaning of the equipment and machinery within the bakery, including manual handling, lifting and moving machinery and equipment, in order to ensure that all appliances are thoroughly cleaned.

This is in addition to numerous other tasks to ensure the highest standards in health, safety and environmental policies.

This post is a temporary position within the college up until June 2025. The successful candidate will provide quality teaching and learning opportunities within the specific areas outlined in the post in order to maximise the potential of every student and to undertake non-lecturing duties as appropriate.

Some duties include attending meetings on matters relating to students, course co-ordination, management, assessment and development. Participating in the student induction, monitoring and reviewing processes are also key responsibilities.
