New £2.5m private clinic in Derry creating 30 medical roles

Facility will offer patients day surgery procedures by some of Ireland’s leading consultants

Private healthcare provider JACE Medical in Derry has launched a new private clinic as part of a £2.5 million investment which is creating 30 new roles including for doctors, nursing staff, management and administration.

The new medical facility, which boasts a team of highly skilled consultants and medical professionals, says it will offer the highest quality private one-day surgery procedures, including orthopaedics, dermatology, vascular and endoscopy.

Founded in 2010 by consultant anaesthetist Dr John T Doherty, JACE Medical (www.jaceclinic.com) is a premier provider of private medical services, catering to the needs of the public, NHS, and private sector.

Its clients include Intel, Northern Ireland Electricity, ESB, Engie, E+I Engineering, Smurfit Kappa, Exyte, and Aurivo.
