The Roe Park Resort in Co Derry has completed a £350,000 project to restore an 18th century gate lodge on its estate.

The new luxury self-catering accommodation, which sits at the entrance to the Limavady hotel and golf resort, features three en-suite rooms that can accommodate up to six guests.

It expands on the 118 hotel bedrooms and two self-catering lodges at the site.

The work was completed as Roe Park’s owners put the hotel and its 18-hole parkland golf course on the market for £14 million.

Plans have also been submitted for the development of a further 11 detached self-catering units at the site.
