Irish food and beverage company Valeo has ramped up its presence in the north after securing a number of new product listings with Tesco.
It will see several brands, including Warbler & Wren artisan coffee, Ballymaloe Cranberry Sauce, and Boland’s Christmas range, available in Northern Ireland’s largest supermarket group.
Warbler & Wren coffee, locally roasted in Ireland, is now stocked in 28 Tesco Extra stores and eight Tesco Express locations, while Ballymaloe cranberry sauce and Boland’s seasonal treats will also hit Tesco shelves for the first time.
The company is further expanding its international offerings with Balconi Cubi Wafer Biscuits.
“These products represent the best of Ireland’s food heritage,” said Peter Rodgers, business manager for Valeo Foods in Northern Ireland.
“This partnership with Tesco reflects our commitment to offering premium, great tasting products which reflect consumer trends in Northern Ireland.”
Dublin-based Valeo Foods manages a portfolio of over 50 brands sold in 90 countries, including Rowse honey, Jacob’s biscuits, Kelkin gluten free range and Batchelor’s peas and beans.
Tesco buying manager, Michael Logan, added “At Tesco, we take pride in showcasing exceptional products from trusted brands.
“The addition of Valeo Foods’ Warbler & Wren, Boland’s Christmas range, and other seasonal favourites provides our customers with even more reasons to shop with us this festive season.
“We look forward to seeing these products delight shoppers across the region.”
