The Irish Government has announced grants of more than €160K for 14 cross-border projects.
Culture Minister Catherine Martin said the Co-operation with Northern Ireland Scheme 2024 was designed for “small, self-contained projects, seeking to enhance, celebrate or commemorate the artistic, cultural, musical, film or heritage of Ireland”.
Cinemagic Ireland, Antrim, which helps nurture and celebrate young film talent from the north and the Republic of Ireland, received €15,000.
Echo Echo Dance Theatre in Derry was awarded almost E15,000 for its festival highlighting the rich developments in dance and performance emerging from Irish Traditional Dance.

The Northern Lights Project, also in Derry, received €7,200 for concerts in the city, Letterkenny and Sligo in September, with artists from the region.
Minister Martin added: “These projects represent important contributions to the Arts, which spread this wonderful wealth of talent across the island of Ireland.”
