Two men have been arrested by gardaí investigating the seizure of drugs worth an estimated €1.7 million in Dublin.
Six kilos of cocaine and 65 kilos of cannabis were recovered during the search of two properties in the Swords and Ballybrack areas of Co Dublin on Tuesday.
The searches followed an earlier intervention by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau on two vehicles in Swords as part of an intelligence-led investigation targeting serious and organised crime.
€100,000 in cash was also seized, along with a cocaine press, mixing agents and three high-value vehicles.
A man in his 40s and another in his 50s were arrested in relation to drug trafficking and remained detained at a garda station in the Co Dublin area on Wednesday evening.
