Appeal after woman seriously injured in Co Armagh crash

Police are asking for witnesses or dashcam footage of a collision after a woman involved died

A woman has been seriously inured in a crash in Co Armagh.

The collision happened in the Forkhill Road area of Cloughoge, south of Newry, at around 12.55pm on Thursday and involved a red Seat Leon and a black Volkswagen Polo.

A PSNI spokesperson said a woman was taken to hospital for serious injuries, while another woman and two men were treated in hospital for injuries believed to be less serious.

Appealing for witnesses, the spokesperson added: “Anyone with information, including dashcam or other footage, is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference 722 of 4/1/24.”
