An ATM machine has been stolen from a service station in Co Antrim.
The machine was reported stolen in the Mallusk Road area of Newtownabbey in the early hours of Thursday morning.
A PSNI spokesperson said the ATM had been damaged sometime between 1am and 2am, before part of the machine containing a sum of cash was removed.
”I am appealing to any businesses in the area to check their CCTV and also to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the incident or to anyone with dash-cam other footage that could assist with our enquiries to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 142 16/01/25,” a PSNI spokesperson said.

The incident follows the theft of an ATM machine at a service station in Antrim’s Belfast Road area in the early hours of December 20, in which police believe a pick-up type vehicle towing a trailer was used.
