More than 80,000 people are expected to turn out to Boucher Road Playing Fields this weekend as former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and folk star Noah Kahan take to the stage at Belfast Vital.
Weather forecasts point to be a warm day without rain for the thousands of fans who attending the event. Promoters have been busy this week putting the finishing touches to the outdoor gig, including the iconic stage.
Event controller Paul Scott has been coordinating the site at Boucher Road for more than two decades.

“We will have the best part of 80,000 people here over the two days, over 4,000 people in the golden circle in front of us,” Mr Scott said on Tuesday.
“I’ve been here since we came here first in 2002, like a bad penny
“It’s great to see people coming along, enjoying themselves and having a good time and showing off Belfast at its best. We’re told the weather forecast is good so fingers crossed!”
Liam Gallagher takes to the stage on Friday 16 August and is supported by Kasabian, while Noah Kahan appears on Saturday 17 August with Maisie Peters as the support act. Gates for both shows open at 4pm with the show starting at 5pm.
