Rock legend Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have expanded their forthcoming tour of Europe and the UK, but no Irish dates have been added.

Eight new shows have been added to their 2025 European tour run with gigs planned across England, France, Germany and Spain, but none announced for Ireland.

A statement on the Bruce Springsteen website said the singer and The E Street Band have “expanded their 2025 European tour run, adding eight new shows to previously-rescheduled dates in Marseille, Prague and Milan”.

“Beginning on May 17 in Manchester, each of the just-added performances will bring Springsteen and The E Street Band to cities they haven’t yet played in 2023-2024 - with new shows planned across England, France, Germany and Spain.

Among the venues listed Manchester’s Co-Op Live and Anfield Stadium in Liverpool.

Springsteen (75), known as ‘The Boss’, returned to Belfast earlier this year for the first time since 2013.

The gig at Boucher Road playing fields in May marked his highly anticipated return to Ireland and kickstarted a series of stadium shows.

The legendary rockstar and the E Street Band also played Nowlan Park in Kilkenny and Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork before the Irish leg concluded with a show at Croke Park in Dublin.

It came after previous dates on his European tour in 2023 were postponed when Springsteen was diagnosed with peptic ulcer disease.

Known for classics such as Born to Run and Streets of Philadelphia, Springsteen has enjoyed a hugely successful career, spanning more than 50 years.

The singer-songwriter has released 21 studio albums in this time and earned many awards in the process including 20 Grammy Awards and 140 million records sold worldwide.
