Car burnt out in Glenarm as police appeal for information

A car was ‘completely burnt out’ in an arson incident in a Co Antrim village on Friday.

Police attended the fire, alongside the fire service, after a car was set alight at around 7.20pm in the Mark Street area of Glenarm.

“Thankfully, no injuries were reported, however, the car was completely burnt out as a result of the fire, which is being treated as arson,” a police spokesperson said.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who might have been in the area on Friday evening or who saw anyone acting suspiciously.”
