CHSq 2024 is kicking off this weekend and with 13 concerts lined up it promises to be it’s “biggest year ever”. DJ Sonny Fodera is set to kick off the festival at Belfast city centre’s iconic Custom House Square on Saturday August 3.
Here’s everything you to know about this year’s line up, where to get tickets and the best places to grab a drink before a gig.
When is CHSq 2024?
The festival kicks off at Custom House Square with DJ Sonny Fodera on August 3 and finishes with local star Billy Gillies on August 30.
Gates open at 6pm so please do not arrive on site until close to that time.
Custom House Square curfew is usually between 10.30pm - 11pm but times will be posted on social media the day of the event.
Last entry at 9.45pm sharp.

Tickets are available to buy here. Organisers have said that tickets will be on sale via Ticketmaster.ie only and have urged people to be wary of tickets sold from other sites and via social media profiles.
Travel and Parking
There is no designated parking on-site at Custom House Square, so organisers are urging concert-goers to use public transport where possible.
Custom House Square is in the heart of Belfast city centre and within walking distance from the main transport hubs.
Where to eat and grab a drink near the venue
There are plenty of pubs and restaurants near the venue, and we’ve compiled a list of the top choices.
McHugh’s Bar and Restaurant, right across the road, is perfect for a quick pint or meal before a gig. The Tipsy Bird, a quirky bar on Anne St, is also within walking distance.
For other quick pint options, the Ulster Sports Club, The National, Muriel’s, Bulllitt, The Morning Star and Henry’s are all just a short stroll away.
The Cathedral Quarter, also nearby, boasts numerous popular pubs like The Dirty Onion, The Harp Bar, The Thirsty Goat, The Duke of York and The John Hewitt.
In the heart of the Cathedral Quarter, you’ll also find Common Market, where a variety of vendors offer a wide range of food options under one roof.
