EMERGE Belfast stage times and curfew as 50 acts perform across four stages

Following a huge sold-out weekend in 2023, EMERGE, Ireland’s biggest Electronic Music Festival, is back in 2024 at Boucher Road Playing Fields on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

It promises to be the biggest yet featuring brand new mind blowing production and some of the biggest global names in electronic music.

The 2024 Emerge Festival with have an even greater emphasis on the AV experience, truly offering the best audio-visual experience on the island boasting a line-up of more than 50 acts, across four stages and two days.

Here’s all you need to know for the weekends festival.

What time do the gates open at Boucher Road playing fields?

Gates open at 2pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday so please do not arrive on site until close to that time.

Curfew for the event is approx 11pm.

There will be after party events in city centre venues for those 18+. Keep an eye on the Emerge social media for info and tickets.

Who is playing at EMERGE 24?

The 2024 festival will see a host of world class acts perform, including Patrick Topping, Peggy Gou and an Irish exclusive b2b set from KETTAMA and Skin On Skin plus Emerge festival debuts from the likes of Hannah Laing, Ben Hemsley, DJ Daddy Trance and loads more.

What are the stage times for Saturday?

On Saturday Caoimhe kicks things off from 2pm-3pm at the Emerge stage.

Patrick topping brings Saturday night to a close performing on the Emerge stage from 9.30pm-11pm.

In the UFO tent Belfast duo Conor mac Parland & Kristian Woods aka Schmutz perform the opening set on stage with headline act Amelie wrapping things up.

At the shine tent Charlie sparks b2b Parfait bring down the curtain and over at the emerging stage its Young Tribbiani.

What are the stage times for Sunday?

Sunday sees headline acts Peggy Gou, Kettama b2b Skin On Skin, Mall Grab b2b Effy and Blk make their appearance.

Mall Grab b2b Effy is on the Emerge Stage from 7.20pm - 8.30pm. They’re followed by Kettama b2b Skin On Skin from 8.30pm-9.45pm.

Peggy Gou will be wrapping things up from 9.45pm - 11pm.

Over in the Shine tent Blk take to the stage from 9.30pm -11pm.

How do I get home?

There is no designated parking site at Boucher Road Playing Fields, and it’s recommended to take public transport to the event on Saturday August 24 and Sunday August 25 if possible.

Translink will be operating bus and rail specials on both days.
