Female cyclist injured in collision with car in Co Down

Police are appealing for information following the accident in Bangor on Monday morning

The slip road leading to the Crankhill Road remains closed this lunchtime.
A man has died following a collision involving a number of vehicles in County Antrim, police have said.
The crash happened on the Crankill Road dual carriageway, outside Ballymena, on Tuesday evening.
The road remains closed on Wednesday morning with diversions in place.
Motorists have been advised to seek an alternative route as officers continue to examine the scene to establish the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police investigating accident in Bangor

A cyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car in Bangor on Monday morning.

Police are appealing for information after the woman in her 40s was injured following the collision with a blue Saab around 9.20am on the Gransha Road South.

They want to speak particularly to the driver of a white coloured hatchback car who it is believed may be able to help with enquiries.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contract police on 101 and to quote reference number 328 07/10/24.”
