Four men due in court as PSNI confirms 15 people charged and 22 arrests following Belfast disorder

Four men are due to appear in court in connection with disorder in Belfast as police reveal that 15 people have charged in total so far.

The PSNI have also said there have been 22 arrests linked to violence in parts of the city in recent days. Four men are due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with criminal damage, possessing petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances, resisting police, riot and throwing a petrol bomb.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with possessing petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances, riot and throwing a petrol bomb, while a 25-year-old man has been charged with obstructing police, possessing petrol bomb in suspicious circumstances, riot and throwing a petrol bomb.



An 18-year-old man was charged with riot.

A 25-year-old man also arrested as part of the ongoing investigation, has been released on police bail pending further enquiry.
