Racist graffiti was also sprayed in area overnight, police say

A house in Co Antrim has been targeted in what police are treating as a racially motivated hate crime.

A front window of the property in Ballyclare’s Erskine Park was smashed between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, while a brick was also thrown through the windscreen of a vehicle parked outside.

“Our enquiries into this incident, which we are treating as a racially motivated hate crime, are ongoing. We are also aware of racist graffiti being sprayed on a wall in the area,” a PSNI spokesperson said.



”We would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to the incident, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 252 07/08/24.”
