POLICE are investigating after a body was discovered in a Co Down park.
The discovery of the unnamed individual at Hillsborough Forest Park was reported to police on Thursday evening.
A police cordon is currently in place with part of the area closed off to the public.
A police spokesperson said: “Police are examining the circumstances surrounding a body which was discovered in Hillsborough Forest Park on Thursday evening, December 12.
“The circumstances of the individual’s death are as yet unknown and will be subject to investigation. Further information will be provided if and when appropriate.”
